UTSA's College of Education and Human Development prepares you to be an educator who is a knowledgeable, professional and community-engaged agent of change.

The Accelerated Certification Program offers an alternative pathway to teacher certification. If you have earned a bachelor's degree or higher, you can get certified to teach at the elementary and secondary levels.

As one of the first and largest programs in San Antonio, UTSA has been innovating teacher preparation since 1973.
