Program Overview
You will take eight to ten courses per semester in addition to at least one course called "Field Residency," where you are assigned to a local school to complete observation hours. You will also study for and pass your TExES content exam this year.
This final year includes the completion of coursework, as well as an internship where you will work side-by-side with a mentor teacher. You may select between two types of clinical teaching:
Year-long
Semester-long
You will also study for and pass any remaining teacher licensure exams this year.
