San Antonio Ready to Work

This tax-funded program provides education and training for in-demand, well-paid occupations in San Antonio. 

This program is for San Antonio residents and military-connected individuals and families in Bexar County. 

To qualify, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.

• Be permitted to work in the United States.

• Be a resident of the City of San Antonio. (Note: If you are a military-connected individual living in Bexar County, you may qualify even if you don't live in San Antonio. The San Antonio residency requirement is waived for military individuals and families.)

• Earn less than 250% of the federal poverty guidelines. Currently, that is $39,125 as an individual, or less than $80,375 for a household of four. 

• Be willing to take assessments relating to barriers, academics and skills.

• Commit to completing the program.
