About
Our Lady of the Lake University is a private Catholic university whose main campus is in San Antonio. The Houston and Rio Grande Valley campuses are designed for working adults, and online programs serve students nationwide. Our Lady of the Lake University offers more than 75 undergraduate, master’s level and doctoral degree programs in an intimate campus environment. The University’s nationally recognized programs and award-winning faculty allow you to explore new learning experiences and pursue your academic passions.
OLLU’s innovative curriculum allows you to double the value of your education. By redesigning general education requirements, OLLU has made it possible for you to earn a double major or double minor in the time it takes to earn one major at other universities. You may also pursue accelerated bachelor’s to master’s programs in selected areas of study.
As a graduate student, you may benefit from the flexible program offerings. You can take classes during the day, in the evening, on weekends or online, allowing you to advance your education while balancing work and family.
With a focus on hands-on learning and small class sizes, OLLU provides a personalized experience that prepares you to become a leader.
- In 2022, OLLU had the highest percentage of Hispanic enrollment of all U.S. Catholic colleges and universities.
- All undergraduate students can earn biliterate certification as a minor, demonstrating mastery of Spanish.
- 78 percent of undergraduate classes have fewer than 20 students.
- Earned an “accredited” rating from the Texas State Board for Educator Certification, with a 97 percent success rate for graduates passing state teaching certification tests.
